Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that you be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgement.
Pastor Perry E. Davidson III was born November 29, 1955 to the late Perry Davidson Jr. and Atherline M Davidson, in Gaffney, South Carolina. He was educated in the Cherokee County School system and graduated from Gaffney Senior High School in 1974. Pastor Davidson received his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Limestone College in 1978.
Upon his graduation from college in 1978 Pastor Davidson enlisted in the United States Army. He served in the U.S. Army for seven and a half years. He was promoted to the rank of Staff Sergeant and did tours both stateside and overseas in the European Continent.
Pastor Davidson accepted the call into ministry in 1984, at the age of 28. He was baptized, licensed and ordained at the Ebenezer Baptist Church in Gaffney, South Carolina, where Rev. Eula Miller, Jr. served as Pastor. While there, he served as a Trustee and active choir member. He also served as Sunday school teacher and Vacation Bible School instructor.
In 1998, He founded the Victory Temple Christian Church in Boiling Springs, South Carolina, where he serves as Senior Pastor. He co-labors with his wife, Minister Georgia M. Davidson, who serves as Co-Pastor. He also pastored eight years at New Bedford Baptist Church, Campobello, South Carolina. He has preached numerous revivals in North Carolina, Virginia, Washington, DC, and Kentucky.
He has been to Minister Georgia M. Davidson, a husband and companion for 36 years. To this union, God has added a daughter, Chaquera Davidson and Minister Demetri Rapheal Davidson. He has one daughter-in-law, Rachel I. Davidson, and five grandchildren: Adonis, Nyeri, Esenje, Eneas Good and Zoe Davidson.
